It is always challenging to analyze complex-matrix environmental samples. This two-part webinar series will help you improve your environmental analysis. In part I, we will look at some aspects of how trade waste—wastewater produced at industrial and business sites—should be discharged by permit and license requirement and give examples of ICP-MS method development for metal analysis when working with trade waste effluents. In particular, a common and challenging element to analyze in industrial waste is mercury, especially given the impact that matrix variation has on our sample results.
