In this webinar, learn how researchers from the U.S. FDA developed a UHPLC-Orbitrap MS method for the simultaneous screening and quantitation of pharmaceutical adulterants and plant toxins and metabolites in 30 herbal dietary supplements. An optimized QuEChERS-like extraction and high resolution spectra recorded in full MS–data dependent MS–MS acquisition mode provided a high degree of confidence in identifying the analytes. Requirements for confirmation of analyte identity and strategies for quantitation are also discussed.
