The use of veterinary drugs is an integral part of the process of raising food producing animals. However, it is important to monitor residues from some of these drugs as they may cause detrimental health effects to humans. An efficient system was developed to monitor residues of veterinary drugs in animals delivered to local slaughtering houses. Monitored are some 100 different veterinary drugs at relevant concentration levels.
