As a response to continuously growing public concern in contamination of food with anthropogenic compounds, there is an increased demand in more efficient screening techniques compared to those carried out by triple quadrupole mass spectrometers. In the present study QuEChERS samples were investigated using a Thermo Scientific™ Exactive™ Plus Orbitrap mass
spectrometer coupled to a Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ UltiMate™ 3000 RSLC system.
Thermo Scientific™ TraceFinder™ software was used to perform data acquisition, data review and reporting in one go. An ultra rapid screening, quantitation and confirmation application of 143
pesticides in positive and negative ionization mode in less than 3 minutes has been tested down to low ppb concentration levels.
