Sodium and potassium were measure in powdered milk proteins. The multiple known addition technique was used. Samples of milk protein were diluted with water and ionic strength adjuster (ISA) solution before measurements. Blank values ( in mmol) were determined for sodium and potassium in the water used for dilution, and these blank values were used in the measurement of samples.
