This approach to elemental composition exploits the wealth of isotope information present in very high resolution data to limit the elements, and their frequency of occurrence, in order to improve the elemental composition result.
This method can automatically detect most of the common elements relevant to small-molecule metabolism and EFS, including N, O, Si, S,Ca, Cl, and Br, at 120K resolution.
