The Thermo Pinpoint™ 1.3 software provides an extension of version 1.2 to facilitate targeted protein/peptide quantitation on all Thermo Scientific™ mass spectrometers and targeted quantitation data acquisition strategies. This software integrates discovery experiments to help identify key proteins and peptides as well as important information such as precursor and product ion m/z values and charge states, retention times, and biological relationships for efficient groupings and signaling pathways for efficient method building and data analysis strategies.
The purpose of the Pinpoint 1.3 software is to reduce the complexity of identifying and verifying putative biomarkers, peptide-based drug analysis, and protein/peptide based quantitation. The software uses automated method building, data processing, output organization, biological interpretation, and method refinement for all Thermo Scientific mass spectrometers and quantitative workflows.
These release notes briefly list changes in the Pinpoint 1.3 software, fixes to previously reported issues, and known issues still existing in the Pinpoint 1.3 application.
