Access is available to disable the MS1-only experiment dynamic target adjustment algorithm, which had been implemented for 3.3. This algorithm was already being used for MS1 scans in DDA experiments, but not in MS1 only experiments. The algorithm turns down the MS1 target in circumstances when one strong ion takes all of the target population, and could exhibit a mass shift or coalescence. Although the algorithm can be useful in the MS1-only context, it causes the instrument to run slightly slower. The patch allows to toggle the algorithm on or off in MS1-only experiments, and the state of the toggle is stored in the calibration file.
