Orbitrap Tribrid Series 3.3 Patch
A patch is available to fix an issue with the TopN logic during MSn scans (where n>=2). Because of a defect in our asynchronous processing of MSn scans (where n>=2), the topN counter was sometimes shared between consecutive MSn master scans. As a result, the subsequent MSn cycle would often result in fewer dependent scans (MSn+1) than expected. This problem was particularly apparent during a TMT-SPS MS3 workflow that included the Real-Time Search Filter. In the case of those methods, the instrument would skip SPS MS3 spectra ~10% of the time.
