Orbitrap Tribrid Series 3.3 ETD Fix Instructions
Orbitrap Fusion (only) ETD systems may show low (~2x) ETD reagent anion signal intensity due to a narrow tuning range of trap lens 1 (TL1), which can lead to longer than necessary reagent injection times and reduced kinetics. The reagent intensity can be recovered with manual tuning, and the procedure for doing so can be found here.
Note: The Orbitrap Fusion Lumos and Orbitrap Eclipse systems are unaffected.
