Nano and capillary LC-MS workflows have become widely used in proteomics research. Recent developments in bringing UHPLC capabilities to nano and capillary scale LC, allow for improvements in separation performance and/or sample throughput, which can be beneficial in both qualitative and quantitative proteomics. In this webinar, optimization of nano/capillary UHPLC will be the central theme. Considerations on how to select the best column length, column diameter, and gradient program will be addressed. Interfacing these miniaturized LC techniques optimally with ESI-MS will be discussed.
