A suitable analysis condition was determined for high performance liquid chromatography–isotope ratio mass spectrometry (HPLC–IRMS) while making sequential measurements of stable carbon isotope ratios of d13C in formic acid, acetic acid, methanol and ethanol dissolved in water.
