As a response to continuously growing public concern in contamination of food with anthropogenic compounds, there is an increased interest in more efficient screening techniques compared to those are carried out by triple quadrupole mass spectrometers. For the present study, the Exactive Plus Bench Top Orbitrap™ Platform was coupled with an Open Accela Autosampler in combination with an Accela 1250 pump. QuEChERS samples of different matrices were investigated by using Thermo Scientific ExactFinder software to check the matrix impact to the system. A screening method for pesticides in QuEChERS pretreated food samples has been tested down to low ppb concentration levels.
