Single-cell analysis can reveal cellular heterogeneity that is obscured by bulk measurements. Recently developed nanoPOTS workflow with ultrasensitive mass spectrometry resolves the heterogeneity and enables the discovery of cellular and molecular mechanisms related to various disease and developmental processes.
