Application Note 1024. This study reports an improvement to AN 178. The 4 mm and 2 mm columns used in AN 178 are replaced with 2 mm and 0.4 mm columns, respectively. The system operates using a smaller-diameter column and at a lower flow rate, thus reducing reagent consumption and system
maintenance.
