This study is intended as a guide for investigators interested in validating a high-performance anion-exchange chromatography with pulsed amperometric detection (HPAE-PAD)-based method for monosaccharide composition analysis. Described here are the configuration, typical performance, and precautions pertaining to use of an HPAE-PAD system for the monosaccharide analysis of glycoproteins.
