Have a question about how Thermo Fisher Scientific™ Chromeleon™ Chromatography Data System (CDS) can help you with ongoing mass spectrometry (MS) data processing and reporting? Check out these how-to videos and stay tuned to AnalyteGuru for more topics like this.

How to combine MS and other detector results

Often in MS analysis, data is also acquired using a second detector (e.g., flame ionization detector or UV/VIS detector) and it’s not always easy to combine results from the MS and other detectors. ChromeleonCDScan seamlessly combine results of multiple IC, LC and GC detectors with MS data, which eliminates the need for multiple software packages.

How to visualize large volumes of MS data

Typical MS chromatograms contain many components, where each component can have several quantitation and confirmation ions. Reviewing these many components, especially when comparing several injections, can be time consuming. See how the unique MS Components view and SmartLink concept were developed to address this challenge.

How to view consolidated reports

In mass spectrometry, each component can be recorded with its own specific detector settings, creating many channels. This can make creating one report table for all components difficult. Watch this video to learn how the consolidation options for report tables can drastically reduce the effort to create simple reports showing channel-specific results for each component.
