This is an exclusive place where our key collaborators -- Thermo Fisher application specialists, product managers and people working on pushing MAM to the next level -- can converse, share ideas and support one another. Please introduce yourself on joining the community by sharing who you are, your background, company or organization, job role, and your involvement in MAM. Also, please share what you would like to get out of joining this forum.

Hello All. My name is Ulrik Lytt Rahbek and I am Vice President for Assay, Analysis & Characterisation in the Research & Early Development area at Novo Nordisk. We are seven departments focused on the biological and chemical characterisation of our early research compounds. We have recently implemented MAM as our standard package for antibodies and larger proteins and are seeking input from others that have been introducing MAM in their organisations.

Hi Ulrik-  Welcome to the MAM community! I've introduced myself to you before, but as a reminder 🙂  I am a Pharma & Biopharma marketing manager at Thermo Fisher in the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division. I have worked at Thermo for almost 2 years within this group and 4 years within the sales organization in North America. I have a biologics and vaccine background- with 11 years at Merck in Pennsylvania. I have spanned from discovery (shotgun proteomics target ID for vaccines) through biologics commercialization (starting up a mass spec lab for MAM to support process development and manufacturing). So I love MAM and I'm really excited to hear some exciting conversations!

I may as well introduce myself whilst we are waiting for others to join. I am a Pharma & Biopharma marketing manager at thermo scientific working within the chromatography and mass spectrometry division. I have worked at Thermo for 5 years within the Chromatography consumables and GC-MS business units as a Senior Application Specialist working on many applied markets on application note development, new product launches, training customers, sales and app specialists. I am from a Pharma background predominantly having worked at Intertek Pharmaceutical services Manchester as a Pharma & R&D Team Leader on Characterization, method development, Pharmacopeia analysis, GMP batch release analysis etc using HPLC, GC, IC, NMR, IR techniques. However I am keen on learning more about MAM and how it is applied in industry so really happy to be here!
