If K is ubiquitinated, can it not be cleaved by trypsin? So the ubiquitination of C-terminal K from the library is false positive? How to set parameters in PD software to exclude this false positive?

Hello @Belliperennis - I worked to sort a few options to help you get an answer to your question.

  1. You may contact technical support. 800-532-4752 or Contact Us | Thermo Fisher Scientific - US

  2. You may schedule a remote support session with our COE (Center of Excellence). I will message you a form that you can fill out to initiate this, be sure to select remote support as the support mechanism. This may take several days to coordinate a virtual support session, but they are a wonderful resource.

  3. You are welcome to reach out to your account manager to discuss Proteome Discoverer questions. If you would like help identifying who your account manager is, just send me a message and I can help to connect you.

  4. You may email your question here, but please include your serial number in the subject line to receive direct support: US.Techsupport.Analyze@ThermoFisher.com
  5. Our service team can be summoned for support using this form, a questionnaire also follows http://www.unitylabservices.com/contact.php
