Soft restart of Fusion Electronics

Hello -

As we all live in a more virtual world now - I was wondering if anyone has come across any tricks to send a soft restart message to a Thermo Fusion Lumos that has lost communications. We are running with Tune 3.4.3072.18, and sometimes just lose communications (I think it is a bug when we acquire UVPD data). Nonetheless - I am wondering if anyone knows of a tip to send a soft restart signal to the MS (when the tune readback is set to disconnected)?

This is my first time posting here - so please let me know if there is a better place to post this question!  We are hopefully getting our laser serviced soon and can ask that engineer. If I hear back before then I will try to report back.

Thanks,

CJB

Hi Chris,

you can try opening the task manager, go to the services and restart the TNGManager service, this should to the same thing as a soft reset (haven't tried it myself though). Hope this helps!

Hi Chris

Thank you for reaching out and thanks Annette for your response.  We do see you have a pre-existing service call as mentioned and have direct communications with the field service engineer. We have passed this message to them and they will work with you in resolving your concerns.
