FAIMS carrier gas glitch with Orbitrap Tribrid MS series instrument control software version 4.0

We recently upgraded the instrument control software for our FAIMS Pro - Eclipse from 3.3 to 4.0. But previously I was able to use FAIMS carrier gas in the range of 0-5 L/min, by which I could get decent singal of a sample at 1 L/min carrier gas. Right now the 4.0 version only allows me to choose from 3.5-7.7 L/min, which blows my samples out of the FAIMS orifice and I couldn't get my signal at the lowest 3.5 L/min. Could Thermo team fix the FAIMS carrier gas range? I believe there were many successful applications worked below 3.5 L/min. The least thing we want is having to roll back the software version.

We found our issue probably due to the update identified our high capacity ITT as round bore ITT, assessing too high default value. So my ICSW 3.3 total gas flow should be 1.2 + 1.0 = 2.2 L/min, still below the new wrongly assigned minimum 3.5 L/min. I'm reaching out to Orbitrap Tribrid series issue regarding this.
