At this ASMS 2016 presentation, Daniel Lopez-Ferrer, Proteomics Marketing at Thermo Fisher Scientific, discusses the recent trends behind the use of label-free quantitaiton in the field of Proteomics - spanning personalized omics, intelligent data analysis to scientific collaboration with cloud capabilities. Results shown using data-dependant acquisition (DDA) demonstrates it continues to be the standard of choice for proteomics workflows, continuously being improved through use of faster, more sensitive mass spectrometry instrumentation and advanced software.
