Hi. I am curious to hear others experience between the use of programable temperature vaporization and splitless injection using narrow ID liners. Have have seen remarkable enhancements in sensitivity using narrow ID splitless liners, particularly with compounds that are prone to thermal degradation.

Thanks Jiangtao for this information. What were the dimensions of your SSL liner? Have you tried to use a narrow ID liner (i.e., 2 mm ID). The higher flow due to the reduced diameter will decrease the residence time in the liner an help limit thermal degradation. It would be interesting to see how this compares to your PTV results.

The dimensions of SSL liner is 4mm. And using a narrow ID liner is a good suggestion, I will try it later.
