Join Thermo Fisher Scientific's Application Specialists Yvonne Song and Richard Gibson at the 13th Annual Clinical Diagnostics & Research Virtual Event!

Yvonne Song is a Sr. Application Scientist for the Clinical Research Vertical Marketing team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. She has been dedicated to large molecule applications such as LC-MS based proteomics and glycoproteomics with over 12 years of experience. Before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific, she was a Sr. Scientist in the BioProcess Analytics group at Sanofi in Framingham, MA, USA, where for 4 years, she expanded her scientific expertise and experience in the development and manufacturing process of biologics. She completed 2 years of post-doctoral fellowship at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, WA, USA after which she earned her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, USA. She is currently focused on advancing LC-MS workflows for clinical protein research including therapeutic drug monitoring of monoclonal antibodies.

Richard Gibson is an Applications Scientist for the Clinical Research Vertical Marketing team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, based out of San Jose, CA USA. Richard studied mathematics at the University of York and the University of St Andrews in the UK before transitioning to biochemistry. He completed his Ph.D on the biochemical and biophysical characterization of the quartromicin polyketide synthase at the University of Warwick, UK. He is currently focused on advancing LC-MS workflows for clinical research on a range of applications, including peptide quantitation.
