The Pittcon excitement continues! It’s day 3 here at the McCormick convention center in Chicago and the excitement in booth #3021 is at an all-time high. Today Thermo Fisher Scientific featured the release of the new Ion Chromatography columns and Gas Chromatography kits that offer advanced separations for environmental and industrial markets and support application flexibility.
We know how challenging the evolving regulatory requirements can be for researchers in environmental and industrial markets. These new chromatography columns and kits were designed for flexible, efficient and reliable separations to help our fellow researchers remain confident that they are working within the most up to date parameters in order to produce results they can trust.
Here’s the 411 on the new columns and kits:
The Thermo Scientific EPA 8270D analyzer kit is designed to help environmental monitoring laboratories worldwide rapidly implement U.S. EPA Method 8270D to detect semi-volatile organic compound concentrations in soil, drinking water and wastewater.
But that’s not all! The chromatography brilliance was flowing today at the “Who Wants to Be a Chromeleonaire” live game show in the Thermo Fisher Scientific booth. Contestants competed for the coveted Chromeleonaire title as they answered tough chromatography questions in front of a live audience. Congratulations to all of the contestants who exhibited exceptional knowledge of their craft and a special shout out to Colleen Byron from Ripon College for winning first place in the competition! She took home the grand prize – the coveted UHPLC in Life Sciences textbook.
