We’ve expanded our family of
Thermo Scientific Vanquish UHPLC systems!
HPLC 2016 marks the birth date of the Vanquish
Flex Binary UHPLC System, bringing high throughput and high pressure gradients to the Vanquish Flex for both UHPLC standalone and UHPLC-MS applications. Coupled with the Thermo Scientific
Q Exactive BioPharma this makes for an extremely powerful biopharmaceutical characterization workhorse.
This year there has been a very strong
BioPharma presence and focus at the meeting, with specific oral tracks and poster sessions and even a panel discussion on Wednesday evening. The discussion was hosted by Taylor Zhang of Genentech and his panellists were Koen Sandra, Joseph Glajch, Alain Beck, Reed Harris and Izydor Apostol. Focus topics included the uprising of the use of MS in the QC environment, rationale for the use of 2.1 mm ID columns in biopharma and HPLC method transfer.
There has never been a better time to
separate from the status quo and embrace the latest technological advances in UHPLC to remain competitive in the biopharmaceutical market. For more information on how to evaluate the latest UHPLC technology take a look at Tim Cross’ latest blog
Behavioural Economics, Black Swans and HPLC.
