060622 ASMS Day 1.jpg

We’re thrilled to be here IN PERSON in Minneapolis for Day 1 of the 70th American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS) Conference! It’s been a while since we’ve seen each other and we are looking forward to sharing our latest innovations in mass spectrometry, proteomics, metabolomics, columns and consumables, software and so much more!

To kick things off, we are happy to announce a brand new sample preparation system that improves proteomics research productivity and frees up time for more value-added activities when generating high-quality samples for analysis, using a new automated sample preparation system that integrates within any LC-MS workflow.

The Thermo Scientific™ AccelerOme™ Automated Sample Preparation Platform eliminates the need for labor-intensive, manual sample preparation for LC-MS analysis, including the associated method development and reagent sourcing. Automated sample preparation also overcomes the challenge of maintaining reproducibility with manual methodologies, and the new platform’s pre-built validated methods and kit format reagents reduce further any risk of user error.

Also featured this week is the new Thermo Scientific™ µPAC™ Neo HPLC Column which will initially be available to pre-order exclusively with the Thermo Scientific™ Vanquish™ Neo UHPLC System and Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Mass Spectrometers.

The column provides proteomics and biopharmaceutical research laboratories with a new micro-pillar array column as part of an end-to-end LC-MS workflow that will simplify complex bottom-up proteomics analyses, complete with a detailed startup protocol. This helps users accelerate their experimental setup with the reassurance of high-level performance across every component of the workflow.

If you haven’t already, subscribe to the community for more updates from the show floor throughout the week!
